New Ethylene Cracker to Go on Stream in 2017 at Ingleside Site in the USA

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Mexican company specializing in chemicals and petrochemicals, Mexichem and US-based polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins, chlorine and caustic soda manufacturer OxyChem established a JV Ingleside Ethylene. The companies are going to set up an ethylene plant, which is assessed at about USD 1.5 billion. The facility to be built at Ingleside site, in the USA.

Both parties possess a 50% interest in the JV. OxyChem has already finished the front-end engineering and design. The company will build and run the plant.
