New JV to Put Up PPS Resin Facility in South Korea

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japanese chemical and pharmaceutical company Teijin Ltd. and South Korean chemicals producer SK Chemicals formed a JV to manufacture and sell polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) resins and compounds in Ulsan, in South Korea. The JV launched the construction of a PPS resins facility with the capacity of 12,000 tones annually. Teijin Ltd. and SK Chemicals hold a 34% and 66% stakes respectively.
