US Agricultural Supplies Company to Broadly License Its New Technology

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The US-based company Dow AgroSciences LLC is in the process of advancing an insect-resistant trait that will be used for the protection of crops.

The new trait is predicted to provide soybean farmers with the broad spectrum for insect control against lepidopteran pests. Moreover, it will improve sustainability of the technology.

The new insect-resistant trait provides plants against such pests as fall armyworm, velvetbean caterpillar, tobacco budworm, etc.

The soybean trait is expected to be commercialized mainly in the countries of South America.
