New Purified Terephthalic and Polyethylene Terepthalate Plant to Be Built in Bashkortostan

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Mexico-based petchem company Alpek and Russian UPC formed a JV to put up a new plant in Bashkortostan. The plant is expected to manufacture about 600,000 metric tons of  purified terephthalic and the same quantity of polyethylene terepthalate. The unit will supply the Russian market with the products.
