SOCAR and OSO Group to Put up Oil Refinery in Cooperation

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Indonesian company with HQ in Jakarta OSO Group and oil and gas corporation of Azerbaijan with head office in Baku, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), are going to set up a JV to construct a refinery. The parties are going to sign a MoU in Nov.

The oil refinery is assessed at about USD 4.9 billion. Its daily output is to reach around 602,000 barrels of oil. The refinery will be situated in a free trade zone.
