Project in Vietnam is Ready for Implementation

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Recently, the land for the construction of the refinery and petrochemicals facility has been allocated on the territory of Vietnam.

The petrochemical project belongs to the joint venture, composed of four partners. They are: a Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), Kuwait’s national oil company, Petro Vietnam, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and two Japanese firms Idemitsu Kosan Co and Mitsui Chemicals Inc. The main shareholder of the JV is Kuwait Petroleum International.

The assistance for foreign investors was provided by the Vietnamese authorities.
