US Chemical Company Idled One of the Crackers at Its Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The US-based chemical company with headquarters in Kingston, Eastman Chemical Company, is going to idle its cracker at the plant located at Longview site for a scheduled turnaround.

During the turnaround, the company will replace isolation valves and add tie-ins for a furnace. Moreover, the producer intends to reconstruct furnaces. For the turnaround period, the production of ethylene and propylene will be suspended.
