Saudi Polymers Company LLC (SPCo) Began Its New Plant

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Jubail-headquartered Saudi Arabian company, Saudi Polymers Company LLC (SPCo), in cooperation with its partner started production at a new facility at Al-Jubail site.

The new facility produces such petrochemicals as ethylene, propylene, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS) and 1-hexene. The annual capacity of the plant expected to reach about 1,221 kilo metric tons of ethylene, 442 kilo metric tons of propylene, around 1,105 kilo metric tons of PE, 402 kilo tons of PP, 202 kilo metric tons of PS and approximately 101 kilo metric tons of 1-hexene.
