Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) Monomer Plant Expected to Be on Stream in Russia by 2015

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Sanors Holding Company, which was started in spring of 2011 in Russia, intends to put up a methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomer facility with an annual capacity of about 70,100 tonnes, in Samara region (Russia).

The plant construction is assessed at roughly EUR 125 million.

Moreover, the producer is planning to launch a construction of the first polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) unit in the country. The PMMA plant will be able to generate approximately 50,000 tonnes per annum. The company will utilize MMA as raw material in PMMA production.
