Synthetic Rubber Facility to Go on Stream in 2013 in Germany

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Essen-headquartered German industrial corporation Evonik Industries AG is on schedule to finish a polybutadienes unit in 2013. The facility’s throughput is predicted to reach about thousand metric tons annually.

The plant will be located at Marl site (Germany). The company plans to sell the material under a trade mark.

This business has positive prospects in the future. The production of the above mentioned material in Marl site is likely to be profitable.

Total project investment is about EUR 390 million.
