Mining Sector Taxes to Be Changed in Mozambique

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Mozambique is going to change its mining sector taxes with an intent to receive income from the mineral resources.

Sales of assets in Mozambique will be taxed at a rate of 32%. Currently, the taxes depend on the time of holding an asset. Royalties for industrial minerals will also be reviewed.
