Enhanced Raw Material, Spot Prices Entailed Aug Ethylene Price Hike

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Ethylene in the US market showed upward surge in prices for August. The product is estimated by about 4 cents per pound or USD 89 per metric ton higher than in the previous month.

The price is set at about 45 cents per pound or USD 1,015 per metric ton.

The figure was accepted by largest traders.

The price increase was entailed by enhanced values of feedstock and spot material.
