Raised Spot Values of Asian MEG Entailed Hike in the Product Prices from USA

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Prices for US monoethylene glycol (MEG) are likely to demonstrate an upward surge in September.

The Thailand-based polyester producer Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited is on schedule to raise values of US ethylene glycol in September. MEG will also be estimated higher by about 4.9 cents per pound. This rise is predicted to effective from September. The increase partially resulted from enhanced spot prices for Asian MEG and decreased inventories in the world market.
