SK Global Chemical Shuts No. 2 Naphtha Cracker in Ulsan

CHEMMONITOR.COM – SK Global Chemical Co Ltd. (SKGC), a South Korean petrochemical company and a subsidiary of oil refining company SK Innovation Co., Ltd, idled its No. 2 naphtha cracker in Ulsan (South Korea) for maintenance works. The cracker went off-stream unexpectedly on Thursday, on January 24, 2018. Further details and the duration of the maintenance works remain undisclosed.

The naphtha cracker has an annual production capacity of 690,000 metric tons.
