SP Chemicals Performs Unplanned Maintenance at Styrene Monomer Facility in China

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Singaporean ion-membrane chlor-alkali producer and aniline producer in the PRC, SP Chemicals Pte. Ltd., idled its styrene monomer (SM) facility unexpectedly due to some technical problems. The company suspended operations at the plant on January 10, 2018. This SM plant is likely to remain shut for appr. a week.

The company’s SM plant is situated at the site in Taixing (Jiangsu province, China) and produces about 320,000 metric tons per annum.
