PTT Global Chemical Public Company to Idle HDPE Facility for 2 Weeks

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Thailand-based petrochemical company PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC) is set to idle its high density polyethylene (HDPE) facility.
The plant is scheduled to be shut in February-March 2018 owing to maintenance works. It is likely to remain under maintenance for appr. two weeks. The HDPE facility is situated at the site in Map Ta Phut (Thailand) and produces around 250,000 metric tons per annum.
PTTGC is going to launch commercial operations at its new metallocene C6 linear low density polyethylene facility, which is located at the Map Ta Phut site (Thailand).
