Inter Pipeline Petchem Complex to Be Operational in Late 2021

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Canada-based petroleum transportation company Inter Pipeline Ltd. is set to keep on building its integrated propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and polypropylene (PP) facility assessed at USD 3.5 billion. The petrochemical complex, known as the Heartland Petrochemical Complex, will be situated in Strathcona County (Alberta, Canada).

The future complex will convert propane into polypropylene. The PDH facility is predicted to produce about 525,000 tonnes per annum of PP from 22,000 barrels per day of propane.
