Indian Polymer Company to Restart Polypropylene Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM – India-based polymer producer Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is going to restart its polypropylene (PP) plant after unscheduled maintenance turnaround. RIL is set to recommence activities at the PP facility on December 20, 2017. The facility was idled due to technical problems in late-November 2017. This PP plant is situated at the site in Jamnagar (Gujarat, India) and can produce appr. 480,000 metric tons per annum.

In end-March 2017, the company also shut its cracker, polyethylene (PE) and PP units for maintenance works.
