Evonik Buys Specialty Additive Business from 3M

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Germany-based specialty chemicals company Evonik is buying a high-concentrates additive compounding business from 3M, a US-based multinational conglomerate corporation, formerly known as Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.

The acquisition is expected to raise Evonik’s portfolio of specialty chemicals and enable the company to provide its clients with more innovative products.
