Lanxess to Build New High-Performance Plastic Plant in China
CHEMMONITOR.COM – Germany-based specialty chemical company Lanxess is going to build a new high-performance plastics plant in Changzhou (China). The project is worth EUR 20 million.
Lanxess will launch the plant in Q2 2019. Its capacity is likely to reach 25,000 metric tonnes per year of high-performance plastic materials of Durethan and Pocan brands. They are used for the automotive, electric and electronic industries. The facility will provide about 35 jobs and improve the company’s business in the region.
