CHEMMONITOR.COM – Evonik is going to raise hydrogen peroxide production capacity in Europe. Hydrogen peroxide is mainly used in pulp and textile bleaching thanks to its environment-friendly cleaning and lightening properties.

The company is drawing up a plan to realign its four production sites in Europe in order to satisfy surging demand for hydrogen peroxide in the continental market. The realignment activities are likely to be finished by mid-2018.
