Kaustik Volgograd Restarted PVC Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM – JSC Kaustik Volgograd, a subsidiary of Nikokhim Group, restarted operations at its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) facility following prolonged maintenance works.

Activities to resume manufacturing operations at this facility were launched in H2 of September 2017. The PVC plant’s has an annual production capacity of 90,000 tonnes.

After this maintenance, neither PVC-producing facility in Russia plans any outages within the remaining months of 2017. Such companies as JSC Bashkir Soda Company and JSC Sayanskkhimplast carried out scheduled maintenance works in July-August 2017.
