SK Global Chemical and Dow Chemical Signed Agreement

CHEMMONITOR.COM – South Korean company SK Global Chemical, an affiliate of SK Innovation Co., and US-based multinational chemical corporation The Dow Chemical Company signed an agreement, according to which SK Global Chemical is set to acquire Dow’s polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) business for an undisclosed sum.

Under this arrangement, SK Global Chemical will purchase the entire Dow’s PVDC business together with the production plant located in Michigan, as well as the related manufacturing technology, intellectual property and the Saran trademark.
