CHEMMONITOR.COM – Malaysian subsidiary of Japan-based petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., Petrochemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. has recently idled its polystyrene (PS) facility due to maintenance works.

The company suspended the operations at the plant in end-September 2017. The PS facility is scheduled to remain shut for appr. six weeks.
