Shandong Levima New Material Shuts Methanol-to-Olefin Plant for Turnaround

CHEMMONITOR.COM – China-based company Shandong Levima New Material is going to suspend operations at its methanol-to-olefin (MTO) facility owing to maintenance works.

Shandong Levima New Material has scheduled the start of the maintenance for early October 2017. The MTO facility is set to be shut for appr. six weeks.

The MTO facility is situated at the site in Shandong (China) and produces about 170,000 metric tonnes per year and 200,000 metric tons per year of ethylene and propylene, respectively.
