Korea Petrochemical Ind Co., Ltd. (KPIC) to Suspend Operations at Its Plant In Ulsan in October 2016

CHEMMONITOR.COM – South Korea chemical company Korea Petrochemical Ind Co., Ltd. (KPIC) is going to temporary idle its high density polyethylene (HDPE) facility for maintenance turnaround. The plant is scheduled to be shut in October 2016 and to remain under maintenance for over a week. The precise date of the shutdown is still unclear. This HDPE facility is situated at the site in Ulsan (South Korea) and produces 530,000 metric tons per annum.
