BASF Launches New Plant in the Asia-Pacific Region

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Ludwigshafen-headquartered German chemical company BASF is in the process of launching its polyamide polymerization facility, located at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (near Shaingai, China). This plant is the BASF’s first investment in polyamide polymerization in the Asia-Pacific region. The new polymerization facility is expected to produce 100,000 tonnes annually.
