Taiwanese Company to Idle Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) Facility for Thirty Days

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Taiwanese company Nan Ya Plastics Corporation is going to suspend its No.1 monoethylene glycol (MEG) facility in June 2015 due to scheduled maintenance turnaround. The MEG plant is likely to be off stream for about thirty days. Situated at the Mailiao site (Taiwan), the facility is able to produce 360,000 metric tons annually. Nan Ya Plastics also operates a 720,000 ton/year MEG unit No.4.
