CHEMMONITOR.COM - Eastman Chemical Company (the USA) has made its Eastman 168 SG phthalate-free plasticizer available to purchasers in Europe. The material has been developed for the use in PVC medical products, and also in such sensitive applications as child care goods and food contact materials, among others.

Eastman 168 SG has great performance qualities. It retains its flexibility at low temperatures and has perfect non-migration characteristics.

More efficient compared to other non-phthalates, this plasticizer can be a great alternative to tris (2-ethylhexyl) trimellitate and di-ethylhexyl phthalate, especially in medical product applications.

Along with the plasticizer, buyers receive access to the organization’s USP Class VI and ISO 10993 test results.
