CHEMMONITOR.COM - Chemtura Corporation, the US-based specialty chemicals maker, opened its new plant in Jiangsu Province (Nantong, China).  The facility will include three production units, supporting the firm’s additives and urethanes businesses.

Chemtura’s petroleum additives business needs local production and storage capacities for calcium sulfonate complex grease and synthetic finished fluids. The opening of another LF prepolymer production unit will allow the firm to expand existing capacity and grow its high-performance Adiprene® Duracast™ product line. The facility is Chemtura’s most generous investment since its establishment and is the major manufacturing hub in APAC.
