Arkema and Addiplast Entered into a Partnership

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Two France-based companies, specialty chemicals and advanced materials company Arkema S.A. and specialty compounds firm Addiplast signed an agreement. Due to the contract, Arkema is to supply Addiplast with polyamides 10, 11 and 12. Addiplast will convert these polyamides into technical compounds and materials that will be utilized in the automotive and electronics markets.

The collaboration between two companies will allow Arkema to expand its polyamides operations in the emerging markets. Addiplast will be able to expand its offering in biosourced polymers.
