First Organic Peroxide Plant to Go On Stream in Saudi Arabia

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Arkema S.A., a leading specialty chemicals and advanced materials company, is to build an organic peroxide manufacturing site in Saudi Arabia in a partnership with company Watan Industrial Investment, a Saudi investment company. The new facility will be the first plant of such kind in the Middle East region. The project, which is expected to be on stream in the first half of 2015, is estimated at about USD 30 million.

The future plant is expected to supply to petrochemical companies in the Middle East region with organic peroxides.
