CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Swiss chemicals producer Clariant with headquarters in Muttenz plans to extend its dehydrogenation catalysts output. The company will invest in its unit located at Louisville site (USA). The size of the investment is unlikely to exceed CHF 50 million.

Clariant is on schedule to commence the production in late Q3 2013.

The expansion of the plant will reinforce the company’s business in the market and answer demand for the product.

The abovementioned catalysts are applied in the petchem industry.
