CHEMMONITOR.COM – The Irving-headquartered US oil and gas company, Exxon Mobil Corporation, nominated US contract price for butadiene for the following month. The company set the price at about 91 cents per pound (USD 1,985 per metric ton). The cost of butadiene nominated for September was the same.

The contract price for next month was likely to roll over from September due to stable consumption of the product and sufficient inventories.
