CHEMMONITOR.COM –  Fluor Corporation with its headquarters in the USA has inked a new contract with another US-headquartered company, namely Dow Chemical.

The contract presupposes execution of EPCM works for the propylene project recently initiated by Dow at its production site in the home country.

Financial details are unknown.

The site was selected to house the project due to low cost feedstock shale gas available in the country. The project is planned to be taken on line by 2016.
