CHEMMONITOR.COM – The US-based world producer and marketer of titanium dioxide pigments (TiO2), Kronos Worldwide, Inc., is going to raise values of the product from September, 2012.

The company announced about the price hike in mid August.

TiO2 sold outside North America and Europe will be estimated by around USD 200 per metric ton higher.

The company had to increase TiO2 prices in a view of enhanced values of feedstock.

Higher costs for the product are likely to improve TiO2 margins.
