CHEMMONITOR.COM – Texas-based Phillips 66 plans to acquire Spectrum Corp. (the US), a global specialty lubricant firm. The transaction will allow Phillips 66 to enter new specialized lubricant markets and to enlarge its customer base. Furthermore, the project complies with Phillips 66’s strategy of expanding its marketing and specialty sector.
