Fuso Chemical Plans to Purchase MCI Business at Kashima Works Unit

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based Mitsui Chemicals Inc. (MCI) signed an agreement to sell its organic acids business in Kamisu City to Fuso Chemical (Japan). The business consists of a manufacturing capacity at Kashima Works plant with an annual output of 32,000 tonnes of maleic anhydride and 15,000 of fumaric acid. MCI’s organic acids business has an annual revenues of 5 billion yen.
