Merck Signed an Agreement With Bayer For Selling its Consumer Health Business

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Bayer (Germany) is going to buy over-the-counter (OTC) business of the US company Merck for USD 14.2 billion. The business includes such brands as Afrin and Claritin. The firms also concluded a strategic deal in the area of cardiovascular therapy.
