Bayer AG to Expand Health Business

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Germany-based chemical and pharmaceutical producer Bayer AG is in plans to sell the plastics unit, which is assessed at USD 10 billion. The company is going to concentrate at expanding its health business activities.

German specialty chemicals company Evonik Industries AG has recently showed interest in the Bayer’s plastics unit, which is MaterialScience division.
