CHEMMONITOR.COM - Belgian chemical company headquartered in Brussels, Solvay S.A., purchased the specialty chemical assets of Brazil-based ERCA Quimica, Ltda. in Brazil. This acquisition allowed Solvay to significantly increase surfactant production capacity in the country and to expand its business into one of the key personal care and agrochemicals markets in the world.
