Indian Oil to Acquire a Stake in Petronas LNG Project in British Columbia

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Indian Oil Corp. (India) entered into agreement with Petronas (Malaysia) for the acquisition of 10% of shares in the Canadian liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. Petronas will provide Indian Oil with 1.2 million tonnes per year of natural gas for 20 years. Indian Oil took a USD 900 million bridge loan to finance the transaction.
