AkzoNobel Sold Its Manufacturing Unit in South Korea

CHEMMONITOR.COM  AkzoNobel (the Netherlands) has sold its primary amides chemicals business in South Korea to PMC Group (the US). The acquisition includes manufacturing facility with its 37 employees, along with the oleamide, erucamide and other amides products sold under Armoslip trade name. The cost of the deal, realized in December 2013, remains unknown.

Primary amides are applied in plastic bags and plastic package films production.
