Solvay to Expand Its Presence in Brazil

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The Belgian company Solvay S.A. is going to purchase assets of Brazil-based firm ERCA Química, Ltda. The acquisition includes specialty chemical assets and portfolio of agrochemicals and home and personal care products.

The transaction will enable Solvay to increase its surfactants production capacity in Brazil, to strengthen the company’s commercial network, to cater to its customers in the coatings, agrochemicals, mining, home and customers markets.
