Shale Gas Output in China Increased in 2013

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Shale gas production levels in China rose to 200 million cubic meters in 2013, what is five times more compared to 2012. Sinopec Group along with PetroChina Co., the China-based companies, achieved production target of 600 million cubic meters. The output in 2012 totaled 30 million.

China considers improvement of its shale gas industry and satisfying gas demand to be of primary importance.
