CHEMMONITOR.COM - European polyethylene terephthalate (PET) producers cut the output in response to an oversupply of import and low demand for the product. Spanish company Novapet is expected to implement maintenance at the plant at Barbastro site in October 2013, not in spring 2014 in a line with a tough situation in the market.

The production capacity of a Lithuanian PET company JSC „NEO GROUP’’ is unlikely to exceed 70%.
