CHEMMONITOR.COM - Uganda, which is classified as one of the poorest countries in the world, intends to find an investor to install a refinery after the discovery of oil in the country in 2006. Crude reserves of the country are assessed at over 3 Bbbl.

The future refinery is estimated at around USD 2.5 billion. However, the cost of the projects is preliminary as a feasibility analysis should be taken first.
