Import Tariffs on PE Reduced in Brazil

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Brazil reduced tariffs on polyethylene (PE) imports to 14% from 20%, making local market participants optimistic about their shares in the PE market. In August 2013, Brazilian government decided to carry out the 30% tariff reduction in a line with the high value of the USD against BRL.
