Raízen to Start Its New Plant in Late 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Denmark-headquartered biotech-based company Novozymes and a Brazilian energy company Raízen entered into an agreement. Novozymes is to provide cellulosic ethanol plant of the Brazilian company with an enzyme technology. The plant, which is poised to go on stream by late 2014, will generate about 40 million litres of cellulosic ethanol annually.
