Henkel Started Adhesives Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Düsseldorf-headquartered German company Henkel commissioned its largest adhesives facility in China and Asia-Pacific region. The plant with the annual manufacturing capacity of almost 430,000 metric tons is located in Shanghai and covers an area of about 150,000m². The project is assessed at EUR 50 million and is poised to add more than 550 new jobs.

The new plant will provide rising number of consumers in the region with its adhesive technologies. The facility is expected to cater mainly to the automotive industry and other sectors.
